The Poznań British International School provides all the children with a well-planned, co-ordinated programme, guided by the British National Curriculum (BNC) and the International Curriculum (IPC) (followed by more than 1800 Schools in 90 countries). The curriculum is delivered by means of a mixed approach incorporating, cross-curricular themes, vertical grouping, small group teaching and whole class teaching, with topic work and discrete subject teaching predominant.

The Reception children work through the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. Pupils in Years 1 and 2 will be working on Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum and those in Years 3 to 6 will continue through Key Stage 2. Key Stage 3 starts from Year 7.

The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) secures entitlement to a number of learning areas for all pupils. It provides rich and varied contexts for pupils to acquire a broad range of knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes necessary to enable them to think creatively and critically, to solve problems and to make a difference for the better.
