Principal’s welcome

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Poznań British International School. Whether you are an existing member of our community, or prospective member we trust that you find the information helpful.

This year we celebrate our 20th anniversary and continue to ensure that the pupils we serve are well prepared for the challenges they face in a rapidly changing world. Since the school’s inception, we have continually sought new and unique ways to enrich the lives of our pupils. While preparing our pupils to thrive through academic success, a central part of their education at the Poznan British School is to nurture the development of character through an engaging curriculum and supportive pastoral care.

The Poznań British International School is an inclusive school and offers an excellent education to pupils from Nursery to Class 8. We provide all the children with a well-planned, co-ordinated programme, guided by the British National Curriculum (BNC) and the International Curriculum (IPC). The curriculum is delivered by means of a mixed approach incorporating, cross-curricular themes, vertical grouping, small group teaching and whole class teaching, with topic work and discrete subject teaching predominant.

Polish natives have a legal obligation to follow the Polish National Curriculum (MEN – Ministerstwo Edukacji Narodowej) covering the Polish core subjects, as well as benefiting from the British national and international curriculum.

Following an education at the Poznan British International School our pupils have been accepted into some of the top universities across the globe. Our success over the past twenty years would not have been possible without the support of our amazing and extremely dedicated Teachers, Administrators, Pupils and Parents.

We invite you to explore our website so that you can see the activities which we provide for our pupils.
